The nose behind KREPIDA

The nose behind KREPIDA

Diana Kordoff was born in 1998.

She spent her formative years studying art in England from 2013 to 2020. Her studies included conceptual art and the academic analysis of artworks, followed by further education at the leading arts institution, Arts University Bournemouth.

After university, Diana took several perfumery courses, developing a profound passion for composing fragrances. From an early age, she possessed a keen sense of smell through which she explored the world. Her sensitivity to aromas also helped her win a national culinary competition.

After years of practice and experimentation, she founded KREPIDA with her husband, Nikolay Kordoff. Together, they devote themselves to developing the brand through carefully planned marketing. Nikolay oversees the business and organizational structure of KREPIDA, while Diana is the nose behind the fragrances and the author of the brand’s story.

KREPIDA presents six fragrances in each collection, accompanied by a book. Each fragrance is inspired by a character in the story. As Diana puts it, she “bottles” entire personalities in glass.

The idea behind KREPIDA’s narrative is for readers to recognize themselves in one of the characters, discover an entire universe behind each fragrance, and experience it all through a new sensory perspective.

Diana dedicates time to carefully studying the influence of smell, weaving psychology and archetypes into the art of fragrance composition. Her approach draws on the idea that scent works “without a filter,” reaching directly into the parts of the brain associated with emotions and memories. From this foundation, she creates archetypes in which people of different temperaments can recognize themselves.
